New to the forums and sayin' Hi (pics)
Sup guys and girls (if any). I'm new and just wanna say hi. I'm a proud new owner of an 05 WDP TL with Navi. I got it for my wife and she says "no mods!". But hopefully things will change after put my magic to the test.
Now a little bit about myself. I'm not a 100% new to this forum or any other forums for that matter. I've been on the Legend.com forum since 2000 and teamintegra.net, Honda-Acura.net, in 03', S2KI.com, Accord & Prelude forums etc and all under the same user name LEGEND_101. I have been lurking around this forum for a few years now but never gotta chance to register. This is my second TL. My first TL was an 03 Type S (Also White Diamond Pearl). We only had that one for a couple of years. We bought it in a hurry and didn't do any research on it. We were buying a house at the same time so it was priced right for our budget. After browsing through this forum and found out that it has transmission problems, well, that shot any ideas for mods. Also the motor mounts keep breaking on us like 3 times. So I spent the next couple of years looking for the 3rd gen -more improved TL. Also, wasn't a fan of the old body styling anyway.
Here's some pics of our new 05. One previous owner and he had books and records of every single oil change. All service and maintenance was done at the dealer. Looks like he really took good care of the car.
Now, future planing of mods. I've already removed the front license plate bracket. White LED licensed plate lights on the trunk installed. Accord fogs and yellow Hid kit will soon be on it's way. Either 07-08 taillights or Type S Taillights. A-Spec kit may be in the works (depending on how good I am with the persuasion to the wifee). Type S rims will later follow down the road. I love the rear lip spoiler that's on the car now. I'm not digging the side door moldings however. They don't even look to be colormatched very well. I want to remove these but afraid they might peel off some paint as well or the paint underneath it would be faded to a different color? Any suggestions?
Anyways, where's some of my other toys that's in my garage. As you can see, I love Hondas.

I think same procedure as debadging a car would work. You know, the one with fishing line and all. I assume double sided tape is used for moldings. Then taking out excess tape with "oops" or similar stuff.

Legend, welcome to the joint! There are lots of aesthetic mods you can do that cost next to nothing that I'm sure your wife won't mind you doing. Tints are important-just point out why these mods would be good for her too. It looks like your windows are already tinted, but if they aren't, they'll keep her cool in hot afternoons!

Thanks guys for the compliments and welcoming. If I had my way they'd all be white (my favorite color on cars).
The TL has like 45k on it. It still has that new smell to it. Both my S2ks are AP2s. The Yellow one is my baby. She's an 05 with like 30k on it. The red one is an 04 with 40k on it. Only reason why I got that one is it was real cheap. Plannin on using it for a daily but since we're expecting now, I think Imma have to let it go soon for another reliable sedan.
