Question New to the forum, and have a question?

Hello everyone,

This seems like a great place for TL owners. I've been lurking and gaining a lot of information. However, I don't yet have the hang of the search features, and could not find the info I need.

I would like to know how to reset the oil life reading since I changed my oil, but don't know how to reset the reading.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

What indication will it give when it resets after you hold it in?

In the manual, on page 196, it says:
1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II)
2. Press the < or > button repeatedly until the oil life is displayed
3. Press and hold the Select/Reset button for 10 seconds. The Multi-Information Display will ask for a confirmation
-If you are sure you want to reset the display, press the Select/Reset button to select “OK”
-If you do not want to reset the display, press the < or > button so select “Cancel”

This not in manual, added to reply to bdowell: When reset, the display will confirm by reading “100%”

It's even simpler than a butterfly ballot!

(I see you're from Florida and didn't read the manual)

Hello, and welcome to the forum.

Yes it is a great place with other TL owners trying to help each other out, and enjoying their great sports sedans.

As others have said, it's easy to reset it.

Good luck
