I have the black all-season mats with my parchment interior and they look great and are super easy to clean. They fit perfectly, a very worthwhile swap from the carpeted mats.

I don't like the look of all weather floor mats. I found this company called exact mats who make clear floormats which I think are great. They are made from the same clear plastic material thats used in your office under your desk so your chair can roll smoother.

i agree guys the acura all season floor mats are great and def add to the interior quality. i had to get them after 2 weeks of having the car. the other mats were getting too dirty for me. they fit nice and tight and are very easy to clean. i def wouldnt go with any clear mats.

Anyone know a website or place where you can get Floormats customized with your own Font or Design?

I have the same combo and I agree. Not one speck of dirt all winter. I just put them over the carpets and I will leave them in all year. Same with the trunk tray.

i ordered extra set of mats too, i picked my car up in march and there managed to be 2 snow storms. stupid salt and dirt on the road. i couldn't get the all weather mats in time to prevent it but next winter i am ready. i don't like the look of the all weather but it helps during those wet and snowy months.

Are they made of rubber? So don't they squeak when your shoe moves on them? Does the water just puddle on them (like in winter)?

I bought a cheap set of carpeted mats from Target for $15. Once the spring rainy season passes I'm just going to toss them and use the regular TL mats until the snow comes back.

yes the all weather mats are made of rubber. when you spill water in them it will not leak off onto the interior carpeting. well that's if you spilled a little water.

Didn't someone in a similar thread post a link to a site that sells Honda mats? I can't recall the link but hopefully someone will post it again.

Personally I like the idea of getting the black (ebony, whatever) carpet mats no matter what color the interior is. I don't want rubber mats in my car all-year round - very unluxury looking if you ask me. Which, of course, you didn't.

Never mind.

OK, mats are mats, they are not the carpeting, they are intended to get dirty, I don't get it, why do they have to stay clean? when you clean the car, you clean the mats, no?

Rubber looks like a truck, or bus, why would you want them in the TL. Sounds like an artificial way to make income, sell rubber mats to protect your carpet mats that protect your carpet?

Only carpeted mats for me in 25 plus years, no problems either.

when i clean my car i clean my mats as well. i take them out and dust them off. then i vacuum them briefly. the rubber mats are used only in the winter months(dec, jan, feb and sometimes march). it saves me time from having to clean salt and mud stains off the mat.

You mean you don't have clear plastic vinyl covers on your couches at home, like our grandparents used to do?

I was skeptical myself when the dealer told me about the all-season mats. But they are actually custom made for the TL they have the TL logo on them and have the secure-to-the-floor-holes like the carpet ones, plus they are ribbed.

Everone's taste is different and for me I would rather people see clean black ones vs dirty carpeted mats. On my car (parchment) black mats goes very well with the black console, dash and doors.

Thanks osteo.

You can understand why I couldn't recall it. I mean, what kind of a crazy, nonsensical, unmemorable name is that for a website that sells Honda floor mats? What were they thinking?

IMO, Acura's all-season floor mat in driver side is pretty bad.

Besides it's fitted, I find nothing good for me. In snow/rainy days, the dirty water keeps flowing to the front and going underneath the driver-side mat.

Someone goes to Home Depot to get some cheaper/useful carpets and replaces them periodically.

WeatherTech makes the best heavy-duty mats anywhere.......the rubber is very thick and channels and grooves are deep to hold a ton of water, dirt, mud and snow. They're expensive but worth it.

Yes I was going to chastize you about not remembering the name, but didn't know if you would take it as a joke.

Osteo - No worries. I can take it as well as I can dish it out. Being an asshole means never having to say you're sorry, but it also means never asking anyone else to, either.

Due to the hinge on the bottom of gas pedal, it's hard to find the custom-made floor mat... Anyone gets the mat fitting well?
