But yes, that picture above IS for both TypeS and Base. Did you read that * = TypeS.. That is why I said the Pins were reversed! because I read it.

as for this, I'm stupid and just didn't look close enough Unhappy my fault lol

sounds good.
Ya I think there was a lot about flow rate vs. Horsepower... on that link on my last post.. So, you will have to do the calculations. But ya, I think there is a possibility of ECM "healing" or "self tuning".. But does it have the tolerance to make those adjustments completely? no idea... I am guessing you already had the ECM power cycled a few times.

Okay! So I got it all working and it's running great right now! So I bought the cables for the Type S injectors and just soldered those on. I then got the Type S injector rail and got it all plugged in! so the trick is to just buy the cable or buy an adapter for it. and I got all new injectors for it as well. As I'm typing rn I'm trying to think of any other issues that I have right now that are engine-related but can't think of any!

Any check engine light?
Soldier can and will change the resistance of wires and may effect communication. I know it effects audio wires as I do have experience with that but not sure how much it effects ecm communication wires. But if it is running without any CEL, then maybe it is ok.

Does the engine rev up ok?
Run smooth?

been driving since I got it all soldered on and boom! its running great! the car runs smoothly and the engine is nice and quiet. As for an increase in power, I don't really feel it since the transmission is now going out (I seriously bought a lemon :/). The only problem is that sometimes it struggles to start, like I will turn and it will slowly turn on rather than instantly. There are new sparkplugs so it could be the coil pack or something, or might be the ecu. But other than that minor issue we are running just fine! I'd say this has been overall a successful swap! I like the blue interior lights more than the red anyways!

so it could be a low spark at start up causing the "slow to start" issue... But as always, you have to begin troubleshooting with any ECM codes. If a coilpack is bad, normally there is a code.

Are you saying the transmission is not shifting properly? or slipping? or holding a gear? or not downshifting?

no codes so I'm not too worried about that but as for the transmission.

Its just not shifting properly, I'm getting a 0-60 in 11 seconds which is crazy slow for the car. could it be the torque converter? again, the car is a lemon and the previous owner didn't take care of it.

If the transmission is causing an 11 sec 0-60, you should be able to clearly see slippage by watching the tach and speedo. If the tach is going up, but the speedo isn't...it is slipping. If the tach just doesn't go up quickly, it is more likely to be engine issues.
