New CREE DTRL bulbs available

My friend on the FX35 forum sent me a link. It seems like JLC the people who made the bright reverse lights have invented this new DTRL. It looks very bright HID like. The infiniti forum is doing a GB perhaps we can do one? Or join in with them?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MNjYBYlt5aw

I believe the car in the video is a TL or a TSX. I would love to get these. They are plug and play no need for relay.

I believe the owner of JLC is a member on AZ. Maybe he can chime in and give us AZ a even better discount?

Alright. I will add your names to the GB on the infiniti site. It should be cheap the bulbs. We have 30 people on the infiniti site already.

So add your name after me.

You all can feel free to join any group buy on any other forum but since they are not vendors here, unfortunately, we cannot allow a list to be made here.

Is it okay if we compile a "list" on here by just saying who is interested? Like if people respond saying "I am interested add me to GB list on other forum" or is that not allowed?

To make DRL come on at night just click the stalk 2 times if your in auto. Hard to explain. But mine is set at auto. If you go down one ( one click ) it goes to parking lights and one click after that is just DRL.

As previously stated, you can join any group buy on any other forum. Just sign up over there and join their list. However, making a list here is not going to work. Thanks.

I just tried this and it doesn't work for me i clicked all settings:
turn all the way towards driver turns everything off
1st click towards dash board turns on parks
2nd click towards dash board turns on auto
3rd click towards dash board turns on headlights
my DRL seem to operate only on auto!! and not at night as the ones in the above video maybe i'm missing something

Car has to be on. Otherwise they don't turn on. I think car has to be in gear. I remember when my car is in P but turned on the DRL are off if I have the parking lights switched on but as soon as I shift into gear they come on.

Any specs or pictures of the bulbs? There are dozens of Cree emitters out there. Also a month or so ago I was experimenting with a custom DRL setup with several Crees in the DRL area but I could never get it to fully utilize the reflector so I scrapped it.

The problem I had was the LEDs while very bright looked like a quarter sized dot when viewed strait on. The reflector was not being used.

In that movie they never show it straight on in the video and you cant tell from the angle they show because a camera at night is always going to exaggerate and make the light bloom.

Hopefully i'm wrong but i'm sure they will try to sell them @ 50/each. They better have a nice heat sink too or they wont last long.

Thug, I believe that most US version of our car doesnt utilize the dtrl's. Mine dont come on without turning on the headlights.
