New to Acura

Hello !! I just got my 2004 Acura TL .. unfortunately the passenger window while driving will not go down. Only the drivers side window. I'm not sure how to reset this option. None of the back windows will go down either. Can so someone help?

Sounds almost like the window lock switch is engaged. Is there a button right near the door lock/unlock button on the driver side door card that has a picture of a window on it? Is that pressed?

Also, I'm moving this to 3G TL since it's more of a technical question and not a new member intro. Good luck with your problem!

pretty sure you have the window lock button on. it the button right above all your window switches. It has a picture of a side window with and X in the middle of it.

Welcome to the Zine Melissa your definitely in the right place. Like Silver said check your switch then I would check the fuse panel in the engine bay and make sure those aren't blown. could be the driver side door switch panel itself. Do the windows not roll down with the use of the other windows buttons as well? relays and fuses are usually the culprits to what your experiencing

On a previous car, I went as far as even taking the car to the dealer for the same issue since they had just been working on it the day before. My previous cars, the lockout switch only disabled the controls on the other doors. I could still control all windows from the drivers panel. It appears Toyota and Honda vehicles, it kills all controls for the other windows. Or maybe it is all modern cars now....who knows...GM did things a tad differently in the 80s and 90s.

I'm going to embarrass myself further but I used to have a "Mom mobile" even though I don't have kids haha but it was PT Cruiser and I kinda miss it. Not used to all these buttons lol just the way the Acura drives is so much different.but yes, glad it was a simple fix !!
