new 6MT
So after going back and forth between the 05TL and the G35 coupe for months, I finally picked up my Anthracite/Ebony 6MT with navi tonight. I've been driving an 02 TL-S, and I'm just amazed at how improved the 3G is in every way.
Bought from Sterling Acura in Austin: $33,300 with no extras, but got the AHFC sales tax break (Texas charges 100% sales tax on leases, the bastages...) which resulted in a nice deal on the lease.
I've been a lurker on this forum since before buying my TL-S (had 2 Integras previously) and you guys have been a huge source of helpful info during the decision process. I'm sure there are days that I'll regret missing out on the RWD G35c driving experience (it really is a great car), but I just couldn't pass up the total package that the 3G TL offers.
I can't figure out how I've lived with an auto tranny for 4 years Driving home in the 6MT I was smiling all the way. At least I was spared the 2G auto tranny curse...
So have any of you sold a 2G TL recently? I've been hearing great things about CarMax, and am tempted to try that route for convenience, but I'm thinking that a low miles (32K) TL-S with Navi and brand new Yokohoma tires shouldn't be too tough to sell -- any thoughts?

Yo, I'm in Sugar Land. And I'm looking for something similar. Did you get in w/ Nav?
Thanks, and Congrats!

I will say that most of the dealers in Texas replied to me with a message saying that they were 3 months back-ordered on this model/color combo and as a result the car would have to "sell for a premium" if I ordered it. Amazingly enough, the Austin dealers were willing to bargain (pretty uncommon from my past experiences here...) and I lucked out contacting them the day they got a new shipment.
Don't even get me started on the Texas Infiniti dealers. Those that bothered to reply to my email at all were trying to get MSRP for the coupe

Long story short...when we got to price, they were only willing to discount the G35c 6-speed by $500 off of MSRP on a car that stickered for $38K! That made the decision easy since Acura is much more agressive on TL pricing.
I don't regret my decision for a second!
