New 05 Rattle
I thought I was the only dumbazz, couple month ago, this rattle was pissing me off. Couple days before that I had a softdrink can in the cup holder with some change in it, took me awhile before I could figure it out.
my 05 rattling is becoming worse where it seems to travel...
First it was coming from the moonroof but now that has seemed ot cease but now is coming from the front passenger door. To get rid of it, I have to pull that door storage bin open and slam it shut, then it goes away...what a hassle...

My last TL '02 had the same isse but it was the glass and my local dealer put some transparent tape around the seals. That helped.
Now, the rear trim piece behind the exterior door handle on my right rear passenger door fell off.
I do like Honda/ Acura but I am getting tired of service visits. The lastest JD Power ranking has Acura at the bottom of the "good" list with Lexus near the top with only 86 or 89 problems per 100 cars.
Honda NEEDS to do better.
the rattling my car is getting worse as well. I kind of gave up now. I wish i had gotten a different car now. Possibly the new 330i or a g35coupe. But i wouldve had my regrets if i gotten one of those too. THe new 3 series looks nice as hell though

And it drives/handles just as nice. I took one for a good test drive and was impressed with the way it drove and took the curves the way the TL just can't in its current form (FWD).
The optional features were impressive as well as the standard saftey items. By that I mean the braking system. Fairly advanced for a car in the 3's price range. Some thing I would have expected in a 5 or 7. Pwr folding mirrors were a nice touch but not sure of the point.
Rear seat leg room is horrible but the trunk is a decent size thanks to run-flat tires. But I don't sit in the back and I don't need that much trunk space so....
Honda had fewer problems with its models over all then Acura. I'd say the tranny issues, SH-AWD, Keyless Access malfunctions, and the rattles are hurting Acura.
This is not acceptable! Acura needs to follow Audi's road and take a long hard look at quality. M-B seems to realize their faults and are taking steps to correct them. Nissan has (cheap plastic is still the name of the game but does it rattle)?
I'm not sure what is going on with the company. I remember the time when Acura and the Legend where at the top of customer satisfaction.

You'd also thing that if they allow you to even adjust the volume of the sbu that they would have taken bass issues into account.
