This is a barrier between the car seat and the leather. Protects agains spill, rips and creases to leather. Plus the color match to my grey interior is nearly identical.

Thanks, all. Having a howling baby sure makes you appreciate the quiet of the TL while driving to and from work.....

Damm, that Recaro seat sounds hot. I wonder how long it can be used....and I moved the seat base to the passenger side, where it won't contact the seat. The wife has shorter legs than me and so there's much more room for the baby seat. The picture is from baby's trip home from the hospital.
