need your input on a car

What would az do...

2005 AM 5AT with nav having 42k miles for 24900.

or

2007 type-s ASM 5AT with 44k for 28995.

I'm leaning towards the 07 due to the car being a type s and because I can get a better rate and longer term.

What's your opinion?

Type-S.

BTW- that's too much for an 05.

Type S. It's worth it.

I agree totally on the price. They can sit on that car a little while.

What's your opinion of the 07 price? With those miles it seems high to me as well.

That is a rack of miles for an 07. But when it comes down to it, I would still choose the TL-S.

The 2005 is overpriced. If that's the same place that is selling the TL-S, it too may be (a bit) overpriced (strictly due to the VERY high mileage for such a new car). If you can get them to do that price with a 100K warranty, it's a pretty fair price. Without warranty, it's about $1,500 too high.

That's way to much for an 05, slap the hell out of the individual who quoted you that price. Now be bold enough to ask for a 2k price drop on the type s. If he says no try to come to a healthy medium and hand the guy an ice pack.

I'd go with the Type-S also. (Keep icepack in small cooler)

The dealer was closed by I did send a note to the internet sales manager that I would take the 07 for $27 including tax/tag/license. We'll see what he says today.

Does that active noise cancellation work well in the 07 or is it a gimmick?

Yeah the quote for the 04' is pretty high compared to the 07' S. I would go with the S. But if you could work the 05' down I'd go with that and put 2-3K worth of mods in it and you'd have yourself a fun car.

I took the type-s out for a test drive today. What an amazing car. It only has about 30 more horsepower but it felt really strong. I ran a carfax on the car and goodness, the original owner put 44k since March of 07!

I did find out I can get some aspec parts for it at a great price since I have a friend that works at an acura dealership if I desire to do anything to the car.

Hopefully I can strike a deal on this car this week.

We didn't test the noise cancellation nor the backup camera. Are both standard and do both work well?

Make sure you disclose to the OP that your TL-S doesn't go faster than 134mph

LOL, I did read that thread. For the record, with two daughters top speed makes no difference to me.
