Angry Need To Vent!!!

So today I get off work and and totally excited because Im suppose to get my type-s tail lights and my Fujita CAI in today. So I hurry home, change and immediately begin to remove my rear bumper and front bumper and stock intake.
So an hour or so later Im done. Now all I need is my parts which should be in anytime now. I get off work at 1pm, Im home by 1:25, cars completey apart and ready by 3. UPS usually arrives at 4. So i sit and wait and wait and wait. 6 rolls around then 7 then 7:30 and Im like WTF!!! Finally the UPS guy rolls up its some new guy and he said he apologizes but he had been running a new route and wasnt fimiliar with the area. Ok so I cut him a break and get straight to work its getting dark now so I hurry. I got the taillights in and rear all put together and Im totally hyped the lights look hot!! So I hurry and begin with the intake and I get everything in so Im almost done when I realize theres no filter. The guy never sent a filter with the intake. So its totally dark and my front end is still apart and I have no F---ING filter!!! I called the vendor and he said Fujita had some issues and sent a shitload of boxes out with no filters. So I was one of the lucky ones to recieve one of those boxes. Jeez! So he tells me he's gonna try and get me one out by Saturday if not Ill have to wait till monday. Sorry for the long post just bummed out that I cant drive my car till its done. I was so ready to attempt to set my neighbors car alarm off. Guess Ill have to wait.

That sucks dude no doubt, but all that means is. It was all more worth the wait for you to get that filter. M'eh what can you do shit happens not everything works out ever how you want it to be. Tommorow is a new day. Howcome you don't go out and buy a cheap filter and put it on your car till you get the new one?

And ps, the fujita intake sounds awesome I have one.

Where can I buy a filter that would fit the tube. Isn't it a 3.5" tube? I wouldn't know where to look for one. plus its almost 10 everyting would be closed by now. Quick question I did however start the car and just rev it a couple of time without the filter and now I have a check engine light any reason you can think of why this is happening? I noticed a little bit of coolant spilled out but I didnt think it was that big of a deal could this be causing the light to come on? Everythings plugged in and tightend I guess todays just wasnt my day!

DO NOT start up your car without the filter, without the filter it can suck up harmful things that will go straight to your motor .. not to mention It's allowing too much air to be mixed in with the fuel. Wait until you have the filter before turning on the car again.

Did you disconnect your battery and then let it sit for a few seconds and reconnect the battery again?

Having it off for a little doesnt make a huge difference if it's a clean environment. Not good for it but in general no huge deal if you move your car or something.

I doubt he will suck up much sitting in the driveway unless his driveway is in a gravel pit .. as far as the extra air ... thats what the ECU does .. compensates.

Matter of fact he will get extra air just by putting it on ..

Check Engine Light is from unpluging a sensor. It should be fine after you drive around for a while.

BTW - you're whole Fujita experience sucks. I ordered mine ~10 days ago and found out it was on Back Order. *Supposed* to ship 4/9; don't know if it did. Hopefully it shipped WITH a filter.

When did you palce your order??

Yeah, but I bet you disconnect your battery BEFORE you unplug any sensors.

If you uplug a sensor (or certain sensors) with the battery still connected you do get a CEL.

Or, you can ask your mom for some panty hose. That will MORE than suffice for a few days!
