Need some opinions

I have a 08 NBP TL-S and i am dropped on Tein SS. Should i go with the a-spec kit next or go with some wheels. If going with the a spec kit should i just get the front lip or does it look really good with the whole kit?

get wheels first because the bodykit is not as noticeable on the type-s' as the base. the base looks pretty naked w/o the kit. if u get the bodykit get the whole kit.

For the Type-S I would forget the body kit, at least the front. IMO its BULGING.

I prefer this much more.

Pearlite...OK, I've also got a Type S. I might have a unique opinion, so here I go. The pictures posted above by JD TL-S are great. I agree with him. The Aspec lip (in my opinion) IS too bulky. It reminds me of the bug eye/bubble eye goldfish. It takes away the sleek lines of the Type S. By the way, the 3rd picture posted will not fit on our Type S-only on a base TL. Plus, when you see the Aspec kit at an angle or from the side, it looks even bulkier around the foglights.

The wheels are special to a Type S. I debated for a looooong time about getting new wheels myself. I decided to keep these special wheels. They signify a Type S. You don't see many of them around. I'm keeping my wheels too.

The only body kit I considered is the RonJon kit. But I don't think it looks good with the Type S wheels. So I'm keeping my stock Type S body kit and wheels.

Consider that..........

Appreciate all the input as i will not be getting the kit now that i see the bulk yall are describing. I tried looking at pictures but search wasn't working at the time. I think the front lip looks hideous and i will not be getting it. As for wheels i sold mine to get aftermarket and p""""" out only to get free type s wheels again from a salvage yard but i really think this time i will be getting some wheels just not sure exactly which ones.

I think I am just going to get the ASpec rear. IMO the front looks terrible and like a complete afterthought on the Type-S. The base model looks hawt with the ASpec kit, though.

TL-S wheels are nice. I would definitely do the A-Spec first.

I like the 07-08 Base A-Spec front lip the best. Not sure, but it looks like the base would fit the TL-S. The TL-S A-Spec front does look really good on some colors/cars.

07-08 Base lip, don't mind the missing parts.

From what i have seen, the 07-08 base aspec front lip will fit the Type-S as the front bumpers are no different.

Keep the Type-S wheels for a while and get the base 07-08 front lip with the Type-S sides ad rear. That's what I am doing on my Type-S this summer.

.
Base and TL-s front bumpers are different. The cut out near the fogs is reversed and the side of the type S bumper has a slight flair to it.

You're right, I have never noticed that before...

But like o4Komodo said, I have seen a WDP Type-S on this site with the Aspec kit which looks to have the Base front, unless it's a different kit.

IMO, i think the Type-S aspec is too much. I might open a new thread with this question.

That's true...this is how you tell a Type S from a base TL from the front. Plus, there have been alot of threads already on this subject.
