Need some expert advice on this '08 TL-S

Major red flags went up when I saw this, so I am guessing it is a rebuild title or something like that, but take a look and let me know what yall think:

http://www.carsforsale.com/find_a_ve...?vid=204515144

Does someone on here already have a Carfax subscription and wouldn't mind checking this one out for me? Or is someone in/around the Miami area and wouldn't mind checking it out for me?

Dirt cheap for those miles, but I called and he said no frame damage, front bumper/headlight repair....suspect...

Let me know your thoughts, thanks.

What all does a Salvage Title entail? Like it was wrecked to the point of being considered totalled, then repaired?

I am new to this whole used car game, so my bad if this is a stupid question.

Cosmetically it looks good, but ohhh do you have to watch out for what could lurk beneath.

LMFAO "Not a single dent or scratch! Runs great and drives excellent. Very powerful. Perfect recreational vehicle. Perfect family vehicle. Premium upgraded sound system Actual miles.". If you read all of this then its make sense key words that gave away as salvage car "not a single dent or scratch!, actual miles" oh yeah that front bumper is a big give away, and you Azine guy missing another important clue hint look at that side skirt one is Type S mean while the other side is base. OP Salvage title or Rebuilt title is a definition of damage occurring on a car that cost of fixing is exceeding the value of that vehicle.

EG. 08 TL-S 35k miles, good condition (market price goes for $20k) but if the car involve in an collision/hail/flooded and the repair bill is almost at that price then the car is totaled . I think also when the air bag are deployed the insurance company will totaled the car, any one here working for the insurance company is shed more light on this topic.

If it was totaled from hail damage I would consider it as a maybe last option if I plan to honestly drive it to dust.

But, don't buy a salvaged car.

To be honest buying rebuild vehicles is not too bad. You guys make it sound like its doomed and not safe at all / problematic.
I've bought 3 different vehicles rebuilt from auction and had a trustworthy shop do the bodywork for me. No problems at all, and vehicles were just as good as one without accidents but costs a lot less.
Obviously you need to look carefully and inspect it to make sure there's no permanent damage.
From the looks of this one though, I would just turn the other way. Just because it looks like they cheaped out on the repairs.
As mentioned earlier the bumper is not original/type-s
But it's your call. Hard to tell from the pics. You need to see it in person to appreciate it.

Yeah, if only I was closer to Miami, FL.

Becuase it would be a hassle for me to go out there JUST to check it out, I am going to pass on this one I think. Some members had a good eye and spotted the non-Type S fixes, which definitely takes away from its appeal to me. Thanks again, everyone, for the key insight.
