Need Help with TL-S Taillights

So I have an 05 TL and recently installed the 07 TL-S taillights. I ran the car through the carwash on Monday and on Tuesday I find dew built up on the inside of the light near the reflector after the lights were exposed to the sun all day! Needless to say, I'm not happy. What I'm looking for first of all is any advice on drying the light out. Once I have it dried out, then I'm going to take it out, take it apart and make sure it has a good seal all the way around.

Does anybody have any advice on drying it out? Please let me know. Thanks in advance. Also, has anybody else experienced this problem and do you have any advice on where the leak may be?

That is a nice little document though.

you are going to have to take out the tail light again.

move it around so any water drips out after you take out all the bulbs. get a hair dryer and stick it in one hole and make sure the air comes out the fastest on the other holes. thats the best way to dry it out.

as csmeanace said, make sure all the bulbs are seated properly and also make sure the grommet is not messed up anywhere. check everything to make sure the bulbs and wires and grommets are on there properly.

I'll give it a try this weekend. I hope I can get it dried out without too much trouble. Thanks for the advice guys.

LMAO, funny guys. I actually considered for a fraction of a sec getting her to pose in that short miniskirt she has while bending over my car, but that's not gonna happen. I guess my contribution to the pics of girls with cars is going to have to wait.

Yes. I don't think there's any other way to do it. I suppose if you're really careful, you don't have to take it all the way off, but in my mind it's easier to do.

As for the rest of you I'll let you know if Maybe I'll see her this weekend when I'm over at Buda's working on our cars. I have a feeling it's going to be a long car modding day, between the both of us. Who knows, maybe when we're done, I'll ask her to pose with both our cars

Funny stuff. She said that she has a 10:30 am interview but after that she will not be around much for the rest of the day so not sure if you'll get to see her or not. Her pictures don't do her justice.

Hey I've sold my living room furniture. The guy is coming by at 9 am (ARG!!) so I have to get up early tomorrow. That 10am start time should be realistic now.

Hmm, I think we have the basics covered:
Tools -- check
Parts -- check
Beer -- check
Pizza -- check
Chance of hot chic wondering by -- double check
