Need help!

I just went to change my oil after the car has been stored for 4 years. I drained the oil and then went to remove the Mobil 1 M110 filter and it isn't moving at all. What is the safest way to get it off, I don't want to puncture with screwdriver just in case I need to drive it and just fill with new oil. Thx

get an oil filter wrench on it,

hit it with your purse,

screwdriver in and twist isn't a bad idea.

Hit it with your purse, and then make sure to coat the O-ring on the new filter can with oil before installing.

Put 1" grip tape on the inside of your oil filter strap wrench. The grip tape provides incredible friction to prevent the filter from slipping
