Need Advice...Just ordered 04 TL

Before I begin, thank you all for posting some very helpful information in this forum. It's so nice to find a forum that hasn't degraded into trash talk about other cars.

I just ordered a 2004 TL Anthracite/Camel/AT/Navi, but now I'm unsure if I made the right decision. Got it for 33K, but now I think I should wait for the 05...any advice? There's been a lot of talk about tranny issues and rattles in the 04 TL's, particularly the early builds. Our car is slated to be built b/w 8/20-8/28, just before the 05's go into production.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

Welcome to the club!

This topic has been brought up dozens of times.

Either 04 late builds or 05 early builds should be all fine. Except very few features may be varied, the production quality should be similar. When Acura plant converts their production lines into making 05 models, they will continue to add up new VINs and only do the minor adjustment as they have done dozens of times since last September.

05 may have great value, but 04 late build has best price with good quality, too. Your choice.

$$ factor!!! U won't get 33k 05TL for now. Maybe months later.
