With my babe still on order and not seeing many people liking or at least talking about the NBP/Camel does anyone out there have this combo or did I make a mistake? I really wanted a more luxury looking interior over sport. And please no bashing from the Quartz/parchment crowd being too orange’ish looking.

 

It definitely is a nice color combo. I have parchment and think the NBP/Camel is a good choice. I saw the combo at the dealer. NBP exterior will calm the orangish of the interior. Good luck with it!!

 

Camel is no longer orange. Acura made a running change to the headliner and leather......it's a normal carmel color now.

 

I was asking the same thing a while back in this forum as an NBP/CAR TL owner. People either like it or do not like it. However, I disagree that CAR is orange at all compared to the “real orange” interior such as VW, Infiniti, or Volvo. I love NBP/CAR combo more than before as I feel this combo is getting special as most of the TL owners do not have it. But no matter what color you will choose, you will always be a happy TL owner like all of us are.

 

its not orange at all. its all lighting and perspective. I didnt like the abp on 3 occasions when I saw it on the lot but damn it looked good on car and driver television when they did the 35k shootout and the tl they had was abp. too bad it wasnt camel interior. thats the nicest color interior.

 

I have had the NBP/Camel combo since November and I love it! I too had the same concerns about what some have described as an orange-looking camel. In fact, I posted the same question as you back in October when I was about to order the car. However, it is definitely not orange. I think it looks very classy.

 

Can someone post pics of the interior (perhaps an external shot with the windows down)?

I took delivery on an NBP/camel in February. There is no way this interior has even a hint of orange!! Contrasted with the black dash and the black all weather mats I put in it... it looks fantastic. Don't be concerned...you will love the color choice you made. One suggestion...get the clear bra....you'll be happy you did.

 

I agree with others here...the Camel is more of a caramel color, at least in the mid-year TLs...

...but the bottom line is, you really should go see the cars in person before deciding on your colors.
