Navi system disk
I have a 2003 TL-S with Navi .There are a lot of streets in my area that are not on the disk.
My question is if there is an updated disk available for this system.
My friend has a Cadi and it has the streets on it that I don't.
Please help.
Thanks

(1) Go here to the Acura Owner's Link.
(2) If you aren't registered, you can select the "test drive" link on the right of the screen.
(3) If you're already registered, select the "Go to ... " drop-down and then select "> My TL". Otherwise, you need to fill in your car data through the drop-down selections first: "Acura Automobile", "2003", etc. Then, you should see the "Go to ... " drop-down list described.
(4) On the "MY TL" screen, you should see a link for "Purchase Acura Navigation DVD".
(5) From there, you're on your own, buddy!
Just so you know, different cars use different manufacturers for their Navigation systems. To make matters worse, the Navigation system manufacturer is usually dependant on another company for the GPS, POI, and mapping database.
The Acuras use a system designed by Alpine. Acura is dependant on Alpine for updates to the system. Alpine is depndant on another company (Maybe Garmin or Magellan) for the GPS data, which they will modify/repackage for their uses before releasing an update. As a result, it's not unusual for your Navigation maps to be a year (or- yikes! - maybe two) out-of-date.
The Navigation system in your friend's Cadillac is probably manufactured by Denso, who may have a more recent update than you.
