my girlfriend plays the same game with me. now, i am new to the forum, so i suppose the novelty will slowly wear off eventually n i won't be on AS much as i am now. <-wishful thinking...
but hey, what can i say, i like searching thru the countless threads here, bookmarking, subscribing, printing out vital info, etc etc.
i've got an iphone, so it makes it super simple n conveinent to search whenever i want. got a computer at work, so i try to spend most of my time searching during the work day, and the rest of my time with her at home.
you may want to try what i did...tell her that your car is very important to you and you just want whats best for it.
recommend a forum for her to try out...hairspray.org, lipgloss.net, cutekittens.com...or whatever she may be into. my gf likes scrapbooking and stuff like that, i got her hooked onto a scrap forum and now she's just as bad as me with it!

I get my AZ fix during the day at work, as I can. I do get on some at home. My wife has her evening soaps and I have AZ, kinda works out, but I do hear the same thing from her saying that I'm ignoring her. Geez. Her soaps are in Spanish too, so I don't even understand them.

I actually go on azine during work hours, so my wife gets mad at me when I rather go on azine at work on my spare time, then call her up and say " hey has it going being a stay at home wife, with no care in the world and spends most of the time with your friends?".... women =/

AND YOU are completely right!!! My wife used to have a bimmer up until a month ago (2006 330i, fully loaded). All I heard was how her car is so much better engineered and solid. How her seat heaters are awesome and how mine are cheap. How my TL feels like paper. How flimsy it is... BLAH, BLAH, BLAH.
Funny thing is that we traded the pos-bimmer, I HATED that car, in for an MDX. Now Acura is the greatest thing in the world. Especially the tech package with the hard drive and all. "Honda has the greatest pricing, you just pick a trim and everything comes standard. None of this nickel and diming for every little thing."
Hmmm...

We have many places we can go on the web that would freak the women out so Azine is a great place compared to where we could be. OP, I'm married and to answer your question yes! She was right, I was on this site all of the time but I am on the road all day and have no time for the internet during the day.
What kills me about it is, the wife is on the computer all day and she is wiped out from it by nite so I get home and now I have to keep the computer time to a minimum. Ohh well, my car is done with the mods so I don't really search like I use too.

95% reading AZ at work... My wife usually knows if I've been on AZ because there is a big package at the front door. I've managed to keep the bitching to a minimum due to the "one for me, one for her" tactic... "Aspec for me, latest navi disk for her MDX".

She hates my car too. At first she liked it. Now we take her car when we go places together because she says it makes me too stressed out when I take my car.
All I can say is thank God for the Twilight series. She's on her second round of the whole series and will read for hours on end. She brought it up last night that she bets I'm happy she's been reading so much so I can be on acurazine.
It did help recently when I told her my car was still a virgin. I don't know why but I had a ton of naked chicks in it when I was single but I was more worried about hurting the car than getting the girls.

it's better that they see you surfing AZine than porno sites. i try to stay at work as long as i can so that i don't have to babysit my 2 years old at home. can't do anything with him around. tried washing the cars a few times, he hosed me down instead of the cars. my excuse is that; it's busy at work, i'll be in the office late today while surfing AZine. it's more relaxing here than at home.

I get my AZ fix at work most of the time.. or late at night after I get home for a few minutes. The girlfriend doesn't care.. her and her dad browse around on 3si and they've been doing that long before I got on AZ. Yet I'm only 20 and not married, but Sep 1st will be 2 years with my lady

I tried that one and it works....temporarily. She knows I used to be pretty wild so all it takes is a little reminder of what I used to do on a Friday night to shut her up.
These two sound so familiar. I try and get it all in at work but it obviously doesn't work. I got in trouble this weekend for posting from my phone at the beach.
She hates my car too. At first she liked it. Now we take her car when we go places together because she says it makes me too stressed out when I take my car.
