Thumbs up On my way to work...

Today morning on my way to work i saw something that made me satisfied in my choice of getting a 04 TL.

I work in downtown LA so i was changing from the 10 to the 110 and about to get off the freeway when i saw a WDP 04 TL dumped about 1.5 inch or so on 18's or 19's w/ the body kit and whale lip from the dealer. The ride looked pretty bumpy but man... that car looked so beautiful.

Everytime i see a G35 coupe i have a feeling of regret cuz that car is a beauty too, but man that white TL with the body kit looked like a dream...

if you are the owner of this car and you happened to drive on the 110 near downtown today morning around 7:45 am post some pictures...

jimthegreek, Who did your body kit?, I mean how did they get it to fit so flush in the front and the rear? My dealer has done mine three times now and it currently has 1/8 to 1/4 inch gaps, does wonders for collecting dirt sand and road debris, but I didnt get it for dirt collection. mine basically looks like sh1t.

Let me know,
Nick

what lip spoiler is that? It looks from the rear like a M3 or S4 type. The one I saw at the Arura dealer was rounded.

Sorry no pics with the wheels on yet. They've only been on the vehicle once

havent had a chance to throw them back on there lately.

nice ride. just wish that the black piece between the exhaust was body colored. sticks out too much on light colored cars for my liking

i know, thats why i have my 19's

but these are actually lighter than the stock wheels, so i get better perforance out of them , plus the smaller widewall for better handling.

What are they? subzero's? Thing is I have snow tires on my stock 17's right now which means my stock 17" summer tires are just sitting there.

I could sell them off and then go for 18's but I was thinkign it would be easier (and cheaper) just to get 17's and mount the stock summer tires on them.

Nice car Jim. Are you planning on keeping the front license plate off or are you going to put it on once you have plates? I'd like to take mine off but I'm afraid I would get hassled by the cops. It looks so much better without it. Where'd you get the plugs? I don't think mine came with them. I have to check the glove again. I know in our old Integra they had them in the glove.

Also where did you get the Volks? I've been looking around for some wheels and so far the SF Challenge is the only one I really like. I'd like to see how your's look with them on. We practically have the same car except mine is NBP and I don't intend on lowering it. How much did you get it for and what's the offset and all that stuff I need to know to put it on the TL?

Got the wheels for free adn bought the tires.... I'd have to look at the wheels again to tell you the specs on it, i dont remember it off hand. the plugs are in the glove box, or at least mine were:thumsbup: also, i dont plan on puttin plates on my car front or rear

I get all type of BMWs, audis, ricers etc on a packed parkway taking off around me and zig-zagging through heavy traffic like they expect me to race they at 30 mph with 2 feet clearance between cars.
