Nice numbers! I have seen a 08 Accord V6 6SPD put down 262WHP and 236WTQ on a mustang dyno with I/E/Crank Pulley. So very close on the numbers. So since you have a few more mods I would love to see what the accord would put out with the j-pipe, xlr8 pipe and test pipe.

give credit where it's due. and a low 14 sec car doesnt start to "pull" on a high 12 sec car at higher speeds especially if the porsche was in the lead lol...unless he let off

the carrera would put a car length on you in the first 60 feet and keep pulling farther ahead easily, there is really no comparison in the acceleration between these two vehicles. oh and the TL-S is not in the 13 second range with those mods

because I dont see drag radials or a charger on his list

There. Is. No. Way. That you beat an 05 997 Carrera if you were both racing. It's just not gonna happen...they're in COMPLETELY different leagues. Your TL-S is a high 13sec car vs. high 12's for the Porsche. Not to mention the fact that the Porsche has a RR platform with wayyy less weight and the TL-S has a FF platform weighing about 3,600 pounds.
Now, I'm not doubting that you won the race, but it could've just been a Boxster, which you should've walked all over pretty easily. Was it a day or night race?

& u must not know anything about RACING....
If you did...you'll know that RACING at the TRACK & RACING on the STREETS is 2 TOTALLY DIFF. things.
I've beatin cars on the STREETS that RUN low 13's at the TRACK.
I.E. the 05 STI.
RR vs FF ?.....Dude...this is NOT Laguna Seca...
this was from a STOP LIGHT 0-110mph.
END of CONVO !!!

Most people who have a Porsche like that own it cuase it's fast and it's nice, but how many actually race it as passionately as we do our little toy cars?, not many. Again you can believe it or not, but posting that it's bullshit in your opinion isn't going to change anything. Nobody said the driver was as good, or the TL is faster, etc., etc., only that he won, what's the problem? They say that they are only keeping the record straight and the board is going to turn into a teenage civic racing forum because of kill stories like that, no it's not, it's becuase of stuff like this. I recommend that if you have a large "street" scene of ricers and enthusiasts or whatever who gather and race on a regular basis, go check it out, you will see things that you can't imagine.

Jeeez, haven't you ever played Gran Turismo?
When people are talking about there being a difference between racing in the streets vs. racing on the racetrack, you can't apply that to going in a straight line. A straight line is a straight line whether it's on a track or on the streets.
The only difference I can see between a racetrack and the streets is that a track is actually SAFE, where all a person needs to worry about is the track...not police, pedestrians, other cars, etc....
Anyways, I still don't believe you when you say that both of you were racing, and I doubt that anyone else here does either. Carry on, "ricers".

You just told me I know nothing about racing, yet you actually tell me that there's no difference between a car that's RR vs. one that's FF. Classic.

I've said all that I wanted to say, it's up to you guys to believe whoever you want to.
Oh yeah, one more thing...NOT directed to the Porsche killer, just about cars in general:
RR (designed for speed)
FF (designed for economy)
The only thing stopping the Type-S from being a mid-13 car stock is the damn FWD. It's impossible to get full traction when flooring it from a stop, ESPECIALLY if you're bolted. Above 30-40 mph our cars perform beautifully like any mid-13 second car. This is all stuff that I've observed myself...trying to beat yellow lights..etc...

i guess you have a point anything can happen in a street race and you wouldnt know it like a mis-shift...which is why street racing is not credible IMO.
congrats on your kill i just have a hard time believing that you "pulled" at 80mph on a lighter/faster car not unless it was due to driver error.

street racing. stoplight to stoplight in traffic thats the problem IMO.
so pretty much you're condoning to watching illegal street races?
ive been to a few of these "large street scenes" and luckily i got out each time with out a ticket or getting hit by a novice driver (which has happened a few times around my area).
IMO its stories like these which ruin forums. racing stop light to stop light in traffic while endangering others just so you can come back and make a thread in the "street kills" section? there is a reason why most online boards do not let you post "street kills" for obvious reasons and im surprised why Azine hasnt stopped it
