Just a introduction. I've been searching for a TL for awhile now. Specifically a 2007-8 TL-S in MRP with the 2-Tone Ebony/Silver interior. In my opinion the best color combo Acura made for the TL-S b/c of the red interior lights the car matches perfectly. I finally found one and it happened by accident.

Went with my father to the Acura dealership (about a hour away) to get his 60k service done (he has a 04 TL). Walked out into the used lot and bamm! There she sat.

A CPO 2007 TL-S in MRP. They just took it in on trade the day before. 2 owner car and it was bought and sold both times at the same dealership. It was also maintained at the same dealership where I bought it, perfect records.

Went up to our usual saleslady and told her 22k out the door with the extended Acuracare warranty and I'll take it.

Hour later I was driving it home!!

Car has 70K. We have bought alot of cars from this dealer. It's not bs, what reason would I have?


Yep two of them. I have no idea what they are. Dealer couldn't get them off and I haven't tried yet. I hope they do.

Forgot to mention. First owner had it for only a year and put about 16k on it. Second owner was military and bought it when he came back from a deployment and traveled with it. Sold it back to the dealer because somehow it was in his divorce settlement to get rid of the car. At least that's what my saleslady told me.

Thanks guys. Its the 3rd TL in my family but its mine.

Well the tint is probably going to get redone, or at least some of it. The back quarter windows, they didn't go under the gasket so there's a gap. Also the two front windows are done in a lighter tint than the back two windows. I want them about 20 or 35% all around.

Don't think there will be too many mods, but knowing me it won't last long. My two previous cars weren't stock for long.
A 90 Integra with B18C5 swap and audio (used to compete in IASCA Consumer 101-250) and a 91 twin turbo 300zx with a bunch of Jim Wolf goodies. Here is the only pic that I have on my computer of the 300zx. I don't have digital pics of the Integra just film.

pin stripes are nasty, but they do serve a purpose at times though, sorry OP, but alot of times they will hide a piant line (aka a tapeing line from a repaint) underneth of it, not all the time, but quite often though

 

Your absolutly right. I thought about it. Carfax checked out clean but thats not guaranteed either. If it does turn out to be a repaint wont be much I can do.
