Hey y'all. Checking in. Just bought a 2007 Acura TL Type S 6mt. A little under 132k miles. Just got all the fluids changed today after a 700 mile drive back from picking her up in Florida yesterday.

Congratulations! The previous owner looks to have cared for the car, and those aspec wheels are a plus

Thank you. He replaced entire interior, clutch and tb/wp. I did all fluids, air folter, cabin filter, and fuel injection when I got back. Took forever to find a TLS with 6mt. The Aspec wheels were just icing on the cake!

its a brand new interior, and its not OEM because the hole is further apart (hell the quality still better than OEM one).

Brand new insert pieces front and back, new headliner and new dash (had the dash cracks). He did all this as he was going to keep the car then bought a tesla model 3. Which was pretty sweet. I'm hoping to get 37 more months out of here (little one out of daycare then) and then pick up a tlx type s (if it ever comes out and with a stick - dreaming)

Nice pick up! Any planned mods for it?

and the tlx type s is coming for sure! Most likely 2020. And it’s been confirmed there will be no stick shift. Almost all cars brands are dropping manuals because not enough people want them to make it worth it for them to design and build them. It’s going to be a sweet car regardless!!

Great find! I really like the radio setup.
Enjoy it! The manual gives it so much more personality, after 10 years I'm still not tired of driving mine

Very Nice! I picked up a NBP Type S about a year ago. Just out of curiosity for those of us with cracks in the dash (got my first one at the passenger airbag), could you post a couple pics of yours? It doesn't look like a stock dash or a coverlay so just curious if it was recovered. I think it looks great and I'm trying to see what other options are out there. Thanks in advance.

Congratulations on the purchase! Where did you search for the car? Autotrader, cars, etc? I'm in the market for one with the 6spd as well. Would like to buy from a private seller too

I used the website autoTempest.com. It allows you to search all the major sites (autotrader, cars com eBay) plus all Craigslist locations. I found this on the tallaTallah Craigslist. Happy hunting. Took me about 5 months to find a 6mt in good condition.

Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. How is the sony headunit working out for u? Does it disable the stock Acura unit?

Sony head unit is great. Has Android auto/apple car play. The dongle to plug your phone in goes to the ciggcigar lighter in bottom storage compartment. Disabled hfl and use the Sony Bluetooth for phone and audio streaming. The Acura nav still works and I can run both at same time if needed. Steering wheel controls still work as well. I have the work order from the steroid company if needed. Original owner put it in
