I now have the mirrors that the '04 TL was supposed to have in the 1st place, especially since the models above and below (the RL and TSX) had them that year! The first 3,000 '04 TL's produced had also them on the window sticker too, so someone at Acura obviously fucked up!
Found them on car-part.com for around $100 each with shipping. Paul spray painted and installed them today. Contrary to popular belief in threads where this subject had been discussed, the driver's side was NOT plug 'n play. Paul had to run wiring from the front turn signal to the plug in the back of the mirror to make them work. My side markers still blink too though, so now I have turn signal mania when changing lanes and making turns.
