hey buddies..
man i i've been coming to this website for alomst 4 years now and my 2005 WDP TL is 105k and still driving strong with little noises here and there. haha she is due for a new oil change, tire rotation, water pump, timing belt, valve adjustment, brakes and spark plugs.. anything i missed please advise me to do it..
now the real question is.. where should i get it done in san diego??
so im calling for help from all SAN DIEGO ACURAZINERS!!!
i'm willing to drive anywhere north of the mexico border to escondido/carlsbad area to get it done..
ball acura in national city gave me a price of $1,500 for most of the stuff i've listed with no rent-a-car but open saturdays..
kearny mesa acura gave me about the same price with small discounts and a rent-a-car but are closed saturdays.. i knew there was a catch..
any help is good help!!

yeah i've been trying to get quotes around here and its crazy on the prices.. i was really feeling like they were rippin me off. a few of my friends said ball acura in national city is a total rip off with back stabbing service reps. i've also heard it from my work associates. i wonder if kearny mesa is the same?

I would suggest you post your question in the San diego thread in the regions so cal section you will get alot more feedback. I would suggest checking with an independant like hontech in North Park No loaner, but sure to be less expensive

Hey man call Hoehn Acura (Carlsbad) 888-445-4054 for a quote too. I know they also have loaners available but they are closed on weekends....they might charge less though

try escondido, i had my car taken to kearny and they tried to fix some clicking noise saying its my brake pads. so then i took it to escondido they fix the problem by replacing a few things under warrt.. so i figure kearny just trying to rip me off so i can buy their pads. Escondido opens sat.

It's good to hear from someone that acually drives their car. I say go with the one that offers a loaner. It probably wont take more than 2 days but at least you get a car while your is down.

I have an '04 NBP TL that I bought in October '03 brand spankin' new (my posts from that day are probably still on this forum). I hit 126,000 miles the same day you hit your milestone. ![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
The only out-of-warranty repair I can think of that I've had done was a couple of new motor mounts a month or two ago. Other than that, she's been running like a champ.
Welcome to The Inner Circle, bro'.

Factory engine should do 200,000 with ease. I'm shooting for half a million which is why I run the $10/quart 30wt oil. At 80K it still drives like a new car. I can still remember when many cars were considered worn out at 100K.
To the OP, congratulations! I was well on my way with 35K the first year, 30K the second year but I got a different job without the commute and have only put on 15K in the last 2 years. I think we're going to start seeing more and more of these threads as the TL gets old. I know I'm going to start one when mine turns.

I have a friend who works at a honda dealer who is going to do my 105k service for 400-500 on the side. He told me the normal charge is around $1200 so i guess the moral of the story is...get out there and make some honda/acura friends
