hi guys...

i m just wondering which car will be faster?because one of my boss said to me 'the new G35 Sedan or G35X will smoke my TL-S'.......

since i haven't try to race one yet.....

and anybody got their specs?

I a 5AT G35X might be better matched.

If its a G35 6MT, forget about it.

I think it was DaveB who posted a 14.4 second ET in his G35X but yes, the X would come the closest in performance to the TL-S.

I think your boss is correct in saying the g35 will beat your tl-s. i dunno about smoke but it will beat you!

freeway race, u can take him, i took a 4 door auto g35 on the freeway not by much but i still won! the 2 door 6 speed u will prolly lose

Just sayin on a side note, makes me wish I had the CL Type S. With some bolt ons, should be able to take the G35..

Stock G35Xs generally see 14.6-14.8@94mph with one guys that has done a 14.5@96mph.

Stock 5AT sedans typically see 14.4-14.6@96mph with a few people seeing 14.2-14.3s@97mph+.

The 6MTs typically see 14.2-14.4@98mph+ with a few seeing 14.0-14.2.

Manual coupe will.. but like everybody said.. sedan will be a better match.... Just put in a pullies, headers, intake, exhaust, and lighter wheels...on da Down Low and you'll give da coupe some competition...

naw im playin cuz... you'll probably have a little bit trouble but still its way better than a stock TL-S and he'll respect you for giving him a good run..afterwards..

I'll let you guys in on a little secret, the coupes aren't quicker than the sedans. They weigh about 70lbs more and usually have the larger 18" and 19" rims. The 260hp 03/04 sedans were underrated and actually making closer to 270-275hp. On average, tranny to tranny, the sedans are about .1 and 1mph quicker than the coupe.
