Mute button?

Hi,

This may sound stupid, but is there a mute button on the steering wheel or some command that mutes the music coming from the audio source? Thanks in advance.

You can press the top telephone button. Sometimes it will say "pardon" once, and sometimes it will beep twice, but the radio will be muted. Press the bottom telephone button to restore the audio. You don't have to have a bluetooth telephone to use this feature.

Same button. When you turn the phone on it automatically mutes the audio. Page 149, bottom right corner of the page.

No, I mean when you're on the phone (Say a conference call) and you want to mute the phone so the other end doesn't hear you sneeze/fart/make funny snorting noises.

Page 160 "Muting the call" It says when you want to mute your voice, but I guess it would also apply to other sounds, as mentioned above.

Oh -- thanks for looking this up for me. I had read through the manual and was looking specifically for this the first time around, but didn't find it originally. Appreciate the effort, Ron. I'll read it tonight when I get home.

Don't bother looking it up.. here is the info.

Press top phone button and say MITE and the call is muted... press and say UNMUTE and it unmutes...

Simple!
