Moving up the Acura food chain

I just sold my '02 TL and bought an '07 TL-S a/t in WDP......I'll be picking it up by the end of the week (I'm really excited).

I loved my '02 TL....it was really a great car. I liked it so muc I chose to stick w/ Acura (I was looking at the Infiniti G35x, Volvo S60R, and the Audi A4 and liked the TL-S the best). My TL was the only one I've ever driven, and this TL-S is leaps and bounds better in EVERY possible category (I hope it's as great as my TL has been).

Since I'm new to the TL-S world now, I have alot of searches to do now, and I'm sure I'll have plenty of ?s.

Congrats.

We did the same thing about 2 1/2 months ago. Had and '02 TL-S and moved up to an '07 TL-S. WDP, just like you.

You will be thrilled with the '07. As good as the '02 was, this is a HUGE upgrade.

You have great taste in cars...

Not only the TL-S but I also love your Mustang. (I used to own a 99GT-5spd) I had to get something with 4 doors. I got an 04 Honda Accord which was practical but very boooooring, traded it for the TL-S in April. I love my TL-S and I am sure you will too.

Enjoy.

Congrats.
You will enjoy, I'm sure. I recently traded my '05 TL 6MT for an '07 TL-s A/T, and was amazed at how much better it is.
Ride(both quieter and more comfortable), seats, Nav., stereo sound, HFL are all much improved (not to mention more HP)
Enjoy

Thanks. I'll never give up my LX.......even though I have less and less time to take it out (wife, kids, dogs, house, etc). I will never be able to part w/ it......it's too much fun.

Btw.......is there a drop in K&N air filter for the '07 TL-S??? I tried doing some searches and couldn't find one.

Only 3 more days.......I'm like a little kid waiting for Christmas.

I just saw that the stock tires (on tire rack) are like $253 each...DAYUM!!!!!
I also started thinking whether the stock tires are good in the snow or if I'm gonna have to lay out more $$$ for a friggin set of winter tires/wheels???

As long as you didn't get the summer tires, you should be fine for winter. Unless you want to be extra safe and just buy an extra set. And congrats on the new car!

Thanks.....my TL was a great car and I am anticipating the new TL-S to be even better.

I saw the Tire Rack rating that the tires are "fair" for winter driving and it kinda scares me......almost as much as the cost of $253 per tire.

If I am not mistaken, those are Michelin Pilots. They are just "ok". An ok level of performance, not great on wear. They are, IMHO, WAY overpriced.

When ours (stockers) wear out, I'm thinking Bridgestone RE960AS Pole Positions. Much better ratings and props at a lower price. Still ~$200 per tire though :ouch:

Snow wise, I can't help you. Hasn't snowed here (worth remembering) in two or three years.
