It is coming. They are showing it at todays Wireless Convention in Atlanta. Look at the specs, alot more than I expected. MP3, Video, MP Camera w/ Flash, expandable memory....... must be $1,000 w/ 5 year contract!!!!!!

By the way, is everyone sure that this phone is going to support the Hands Free Protocol needed for the TL, rather than just the Headset Protocol (used with that Jabra earpiece)?

 

Yes. It's mentioned in the specs for the phone.

 

Why do all these new phones have that stupid camera? I guess I'll have to live with it because it will probobly be the only BT phone from VZ for a while.

 

Yeah, I'm real disappointed that the phone has one of these stupid cameras in it too. I have no need for it and don't want to be inconvenienced at some point when I can't go in somewhere because my phone has one on it.

I wonder if there's someway to have the camera removed by VZW service and put a plug in its place.

 

A lot of the places I work in do not allow photography of the equipment. They have not started to check our phones yet but I've been told most of our costumers, especially Lucent Technologies will be checking all cell phones that enter the lab/equipment area . I need my phone at work so what will I do?
