More Pics.

If anyone is interested I have uploaded more pics in my gallery after the 35% tint was done. Some of the pics especially the outdoors ones aren't great as it was snowing and in the morning but I will do more at some point. I have included interior and exterior before/after tint, front mats, rear mats, backup sensors and a closeup of both types. Also diagnostics, navi software version and real time satellite locations to prove the tint worked.

All you do is hold the menu button with left finger, map and cancel at same time with right hand. and the diagnostics screen comes up. Unless you have someone there you'd have to take the picture with your foot.

That is so cool. Thanks for sharing this info with us. I'll have to try it.

Sorry I haven't had the nerve to go into that one. I don't want to accidently change anything like someone I read earlier, so I've only been in the two screens I posted.

JSS1 -- thanks a lot for posting those pics. You have the exact color combination I want, and no one has pics of it in real time, except here. Your car looks gorgeous.

Thanks again.

Thanks. This combo actually wasn't the one I initially ordered, but I wouldn't get the dark blue until March. Now that I have it I am glad I didn't get the blue as this combo is better for me. Very easy to keep clean and doesn't look nearly as bad as my previous black car did when dirty. It looks more silver than gold but changes in the light. The tint has made a huge difference as far as reading the screen in the sun.

I know they have their reasons, but I'm still not thrilled with the black dashboard and steering. Its a cost function, I'm sure, but would have preferred a Tan Dash that looks less dirty when it gets dusty. OH well.

Does the backup sonar work well? I noticed when I test drove that the back window is really small, so I would end up getting it most likely, when I order mine next summer.

I had the interior treated, dash, leather and floor. Doesn't get dusty from what I see. If it did I'd run my California duster over it once and bye bye dust.

I posted on the backup system somewhere here and gave the difference as to how the two systems worked (side and rear), but I can't find it, and yes it does work VERY well. I don't care how it looks as I have to back between two concrete pillars.

Nice Color

JSS1...

I saw your color last night. I was in a double turn lane and a gold (sorry I don't know the color name) pulled up beside me. We both we're check out each others cars. The gold looks great at night. I didn't go with gold because that was my last color and it was time for a change. Great choice!
