Question Moon Roof Visor

is it FUGLY?

practical?

enhance's the TL look?

take away from the TL's look?

i'm on the fence about getting one... my buddy has an 01 maxima and his moon roof visor is SO TALL.. and his is factory... it's gotta be a good 4 1/2 to 5 inches tall...

how tall is the TL's? i found an aftermarket one and it guarantees a LOW PROFILE LOOK... but i am uncertain... help anyone!

I think it's FUGLY. To me there is no point of it. Maybe it's practical to women who want the sunroof back but don't want their hair to get messed up, but that's the only reason I would think somebody would get one.

I think it's distracting to the rest of the car and sticks out like a sore thumb. My of course.

FUGLY!
They look bad, and you can just raise the back of the sunroof to get the same affect.

It's fine on a Honda Accord-not on a TL.

Don't touch them. They mark up your roof at the contact points (where the rubber seals against the roof). Constant rubbing over the months will wear your paint down and make it hazy. Had one on my Maxima and I took it off and it was pretty marked up. Had to put it back on so they wouldn't ding me on Trade-in. If you plan on never taking it off, knock yourself out. Not worth the trouble IMO...

Well, if you change your mind, I've got one I'll let go for half of a new one.
I had it on the car for a month (new car) before I took it off.
Its FUGLY on a TL.

I just put one on my TL about a month ago and man was it a pain in the ass to install. I don't think it looks FUGLY but I don't necessarily think it looks GREAT either. I mostly put it on so I could use my sunroof a little more often without all the wind noise.
Here are some pics. A co-worker told me it goes well on my car because of the rear spoiler I may take it off later on but for now I think I'll leave it on.

The wing spoiler and the moonroof visor are two OEM mods that look horrible IMO. Lip spoiler and no moonroof vistor = a win.

I added the rear spoiler back in 05 when I bought the car and as far as it goes I really do think it makes the car look sportier but I understand some people may not agree. If everyone in this world thought the same same it sure would be a boring world though...lol

I love the lip spoiler on TL's too but like I said above I think regular spoiler looks good as well.

It doesn't flow with the car. It's almost putting a WRX spoiler, on our cars. Don't even try to photoshop that.
