I'm Kind Of Lost And Am Worried What I Should Do Now? Do I Have Anything To Worry About? If Any Of You Guys Know Anything Can You Please Help Me Out...

Moleskin is a slightly fuzzy strip of rubber that they must install on the rubber window strip in the door. It rubs on the inside of the window and for some reason, the TL, and also some Accords, don't have this. You can intall tint without it if you want, but usually the tint place will tell you up front that the tint will eventually scratch on the inside. It adds some cost to the tint job, but after researching it here, I figured that my tint guy wasn't bullshitting me and that it'd be cheap insurance. So that's the deal with moleskin.

ask the guy if he put felt or moleskin on the doors. if he didn't or didn't suggest it to you, he is hack. they can cut the blades, or file down clips.....but that is half assed.

if he didn't install it, buy a set from the vendor on here and install them yourself. it is not very hard and will keep your windows scratch/streak free.

if he cut you blades, you looking at alot of noise while driving and about a $300 repair bill. some people posted, read what they have said. $21 is a great insurance policy on your tint.

My '04 had two windows the looked terrible after two years. I took it back to my tint guy and he replaced them for free. (I would have done it sooner, but he's 400+ miles away)
This time he used strips of the "soft" side of velcro. The kind with an adhesive backing. He says he does this to all of his installations now.
It works like a champ. Three months and not one scratch.
