Missing underbody shield
Hey guys...
Does anyone know what this part is? Looks like a shield but Im not sure. One of the edges broke of and is dangling. Not sure what the part or part number is...can anyone help? This is below the front bumper. 2007 Base.
Would rather avoid going to my mechanic is this is a easy DIY ....still smarting from the 1200 spent on the timing kit😀

It seems like the front left part is missing, I think that's part 24 in the link you sent. The part 21 you linked to is the middle part. He may need 21 as well if it's not holding well

Thanks guys.
i think that rake is a seperate part so I should be able to get it done without removing the other side or the middle piece.
part ordered!

That is correct. The rake is separate. I can confirm, because my passenger side (right side) strake fell off and I haven't replaced it. I broke a clip or two when I removed my bumper and held it up with some tape a while ago. That was foolish lol. It may not be a bad idea to grab a few extra clips as well in case they break. I kind of forgot about itmine until I saw your thread, so thanks for the reminder.

Burning Brakes
I don't think they're critical, but you can see mine is missing at certain angles, so for 11 bucks I'm going to replace it. The rake can help keep water and mud off the underside of the engine and can also give a few low-mounted components some added protection from rocks/stones and other road debris. For me, I know the oil pan is on the passenger side, so having a rake can potentially keep it from getting punctured. That would be an expensive fix.

The strake is to push up air, deflecting air flow.
Some say for aerodynamic reasons, some say for thermodynamic reasons.
