Might as well real CF wrap it
Might as well real CF wrap it
Well Ive worked with fiberglass alot in the past and results have turned out very well. Including a few audio enclosures and repairs. So recently I have been researching CF twill wrapping. Yea its not a full carbon fiber piece, but it is wrapped in real CF. It doesnt appear to be too hard.
The only difference I really see is that because you see the twill when you wrap you need to make sure to lay it even and wrap it evenly. (patience required)
So I plan to go for it and see what im capable of. Now I just need to find the best place to buy some 2x2CF twill weave. Anyone know of a good place to pick some up??
I have a 2007 Type S and I have a few extra interior pieces laying around to practice on to see what I can do. Any suggestions on what could be wrapped and look good on the interior?? Im saying that in terms of my practice pieces coming out damn near perfect. I also feel very confident that it wont be to difficult for me, just based on my past fiberglass and resin work.
