Thumbs up Message for RON A (Super Moderator) - Instructions needed

Hi Ron. Can you please post the instructions on how to remove the glossy window trim. I have a 3G TL and I have the same issue as the original poster of the thread below; big scratch on the rear window trim.

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...ow+trim+remove

Thank you very much!

Actually, it probably shouldn't. That way, in the future, if other members want to find the same instructions they can look in this thread.

They would have no clue whats in this thread other than a message for Ron.

This is fine. Other people might find this thread when searching and it will lead them to their answer quicker than a PM that they can't see.

edit later on: I just looked back and saw where subinf said the same thing. Great minds think alike.

It's been in the 3G Garage all along. That should be the first place that do-it-yourselfers look for help. Not being critical; just an ad for the good old garage.

...not if Ron creates a new thread for it. And when he does, I hope this thread is deleted, because I think you're right... this is a PM discussion.

Unless we're gonna turn this into an Acurazine chat room!

The Search functionality by default searches the entire post, not just the title. So yeah, they'll see this thread if they search for these instructions. (assuming they choose the right words to search). The negative is that when they see the results the title doesn't look directly related.

Thank you. I was going to say that but you saved me the trouble.

Enough about whether or not. As long as c2pid gets what he asked for, that's all we need to know.

Thanks Ron for the instruction. I rarely post messages, and I know that I need to post X number of posts before I can PM. So if I have offended anyone, sorry!

No offense taken. You have been here long enough to send PM's; the minimum doesn't apply to you OG's.
