There definitely is a good thread that describes what you need to do. I have it bookmarked at home. I'll post it here tonight if nobody beats me to it.

I believe somebody said you need to insert a knife between the plastic and metal back and pry it open. I havent done it. Good luck! I've found the micro screwdriver to be invaluable on other led installs though!

Actually a small screwdriver will fit into the slot/hole on the side of each lens.
This thread is pretty informative, and long. The links to the removal thread don't work anymore though.

This worked awesome for mine.......

Pretty cool solution, if you can find the tubing.

I couldn't find the tubing, so here's what I did:

1. Cut a 6"-8" strip of electrical tape.
2. Fold that strip of tape length-wise (so that it sticks to itself).
3. Put the middle of the tape on top of the light bulb, all the way back to the base of the bulb.
4. Fold the tape around the bulb so that it is very snug all around.
5. Use the tape to pull the bulb out.

Mine came out first try both times! I felt like I had invented time travel or something.

I hope that this can prevent many sore fingers...

OK HERE IS THE DEAL.

I couldn't wait... so i just went out to my car with a plastic card (any card that's as thick as credit cards)

just slide a card (shorter dimension side for the card, into the longer side of the map light plastic cover) and just pop it. the whole cover just POPS out. LOL
it took me 2 seconds each side... so easy.

LEEDOGG, go out to your car and change ASAP!

lastly, I wasn't really impressed by the lighting color of ******9LEDs.
It looks damn purple to me (compared to the ones that i had bought previously at another source)
Im not that happy cuz i spent over $50 on these....

That's the thread I was thinking of. Go to ¿GotJazz?'s post on page 6 for the instructions.

Mine have a slight blue tint to them which I don't mind since there are blue lights on the dash. I never noticed them to be purple- that would suck.

Brian is really good though- I would e-mail him and tell him. He'll probably send replacements.

It could be just my eyes. Like i showed you on the above pic.
Same superwhite lighting can be different by a little. I've seen better whiter LEDs, that's why im comparing with ******** product

Please no more mention of any outside ebay sales unless they are a paid vendor with AcuraZine. Thank you

I'm very happy with mine and the color but I do seem to remember another person having a similar problem and the LEDs were mislabled for color. Give Brian a call and a chance to make it right.

Where did that other LED come from? It looks much whiter and brighter.
