Miles are miles. That's the great thing about them. However, the question you can't answer (unless the dealer has records) is if the car was maintained properly. High mileage cars are a good way to get into a new looking late model car. But, you'll have the maintenance hassles of an older car.

i would never pay that much for any car with the mileage that tl-s has. knock off maybe 4-5k and then your good to go.

El Pasado, I think that is too many miles for a 2 year old car. 93,000+ miles is a lot.

That's a lot miles for a 2 year old car. Not as much as a 2006 TL that was sold in January this year with over 200,000 miles at auction
for $ 8,400.

Anyone here own this 2006 TL ?

who drives 46,500 miles a year??? damn!

Ya for a two year old car and you're already gonna have to change timing belt / water pump etc in only 10k miles of ownership... not worth it IMO

If the water pump/timing belt hasn't been changed then I'd look else where.

My 2006 now has 145k and it looks and drives like new, still smells new! The dealer replaced the water pump and timing belt. I saved more then half of what a low mileage 06 goes for. If I get 30k or 3 years out of her ill be happy, which shouldnt be a problem. Dont let miles scare you as long as the car was well maintained!

Well said
I have owned Acuras since 1998, and would guess +300K miles. Except for maintenance, I haven't even replaced a light bulb!

that particular TL-S is approaching the costly 100k service....so I would keep that in mind when considering it, although $17k for an 08 TL-s sounds like a sweeet deal!

Looks like in great condtion cosmetic wise. Obviously the previous owner drive a lot of highway miles. I would try to nego the price down and bit because you will need to get the 105k service done soon. Other than that, it is a sweet color combo 08 TLS, just like mine.

a gen2 megaModerator has over 350kmiles! on an 00
swapped the engine for one from a cl-s with 6 speed at 200-
pulled original motor apart and cylinders still had crosshatch marks from honing before assembly- thats excellent wear! brand new inside at 200

he also put 50kmiles per year on it driving hundreds of miles from site to site for work- then it would idle for hours,,
regular seafoam user too

People here on the west coast drive 100-150-200 mile DAILY commute as a normal thing and think nothing of it- then do a 500 mile weekend trip..adds up fast

But if oil changed and and eye kept on fluids and parts changed as needed- its still a fine car

megamod STILL does track days at 4 mile long `road america` track, where you can get actual top speed on the straight!
miles mean nothing! maitenance rules!!

That car has 6k more miles than my 04 and its an 08. I'd be nice and offer $12K just because its a Type S- If it has an A title with no accident history. If it were a base, I'd offer no more than $10. that mileage is ridiculas.

Like others have said- don't let miles scare you. My 05 has close to 90,000 miles now and it drives like it's brand new. Not just saying that because it's my car, it really is flawless. Goes to show that if the car is properly cared for and such, there's nothing to be afraid of. And luckily since it's an 08 with that many miles, most were probably highway miles. That price does look a little steep though.

miles...

Holy cow, 93k miles for an 08! For comparison, my 08 has just over 12k. Can't imagine people spending that amount of time in their cars.
