So my Maulfunction light came on 3 days ago, I checked my manual and it said that it had something to do with emissions. It also said that it could have went on due to a gas cap being loose. The last time I filled up was nearly a week ago and the light came on three days ago. Yesterday the light went off and its still off today. Should I consider the problem fixed or have it checked out? Thanks.

 

first thing to do is take it to aamco or any auto shop that would hook up the machine that reads the codes. that way, you will know what you are dealing with since the light does go away if not dealt with.
