The E60 M5 was one of the worst ones in my opinion power wise.

Damn does that V10 scream tho, wow! Sounds so damn good.


The new F10 M5 is where it's at though, power wise at least. Just a tune made 640rwhp...that would have wiped the floor with every car there.

Yeah that was the video I found yesterday but wasnt sure as I dont see it as the mini schooling him since the mini had a major head start and the M wasnt interested in it until he saw it zoom by fast plus the M caught up to it quickly, but still they are all douchbags for wreckless driving.

I have beat an E60 M5 in my IS350 in the past from dig. It took him a long time before he caught up near me but the race was already over... With IS350 in stock form, can beat most of cars out there on street. This is an exact reason why I got one. There's a video of IS350 beating the new Mustang 5.0 too, and that was from roll, lol.

 

 

Thats funny as I just killed an IS350 twice going home day before yesterday.

I believe the M5 story. A strong IS 350 can certainly get the jump out of the hole and bat in the same league as an e60 M5. And, as he stated, the M5 was catching up. M5 was a 107-108 mph car new, but they can easily fall to ~105 over time and with poor maintenance. Even then, the 350 will get ass raped approaching and entering triple digits.

Beating a Coyote Mustang from a roll is much less believable.

 

Uhh... The E60 M5s are good for 12.5 sec ET and 115 mph trap. I think you got it mixed up with E39 M5.

You guys are funny... funny admin. Look, IS350 can't beat everything. I clearly said I feel threatened when stopped next to a Nissan GTR stock or modded. Also some of those 700hp muscle cars I don't mess around with. But realistically and hypothetically speakin' most cars with upto around 400'ish hp are not difficult to beat in IS350 in a lot of situations. This is why I don't find IS-F any threat at all because IS350 can beat the IS-F except for high speed roll pulls. IS-F *isn't* geared for low speed from digs. It's geared for entire range of speed to the top end. You see, gearing is extremely important.

And why I like IS350 much is that it doesn't stop accelerate after 100 mph like many folks here think. 3rd gear tops out at 90 mph@ 6450 rpm. 4th gear take over at whopping 4800 rpm where the torque peaks and keep the car in the power band. This is not a Honda. THis is not an Acura TL 5 lame speed a-u-t-o-m-a-t-i-c t-r-a-n-s-m-i-s-s-i-o-n whose gearing is very very tall. Try comparing 4th gear of TL 5AT and IS350, it's differ by light years. You do know how far the light years is, right? Humongous difference. This is damn good gearing for auto, the IS350 that is. The 4th gear sprints up to 125 mph, but you need to make sure the 4th gear limiter is set, otherwise the car has tendency to shift to 5th a little early. Heck, even the 5th gear in IS350 is much tighter than the 4TH gear of TL 5AT!!!! We are talking very different class in transmission gearing. What I am trying to say is, the IS350 is faster than you think from roll. MS3 won't be able to take on the IS350 from any rolling speed to 125 mph. I feel the IS350 pulls harder more aggressively. I don't know what the heck Lexus has done to the newer model ('11~ '13) but there is a definitely change in ECU programming as the throttle response is quite different than the 2008 model I owned. The '11 model is one mean son of a xxxxx.

I love my IS350 I want to get naked and kiss and huggie....
