I dont get it, why would you want to use some product in your motor oil?!? I have never tried it and never will put some additive in my oil. Do oil changes using a quality oil on time everytime and dont waste money on those gimmick additive. This is just my opinion about those products, but if somebody knows something I dont then please fill me in.

I disagree, I've been using Tufoil in my vehicles since the early 90's and can confirm it's a great product. I had a 89' Dodge Daytona Shelby which I bought back then with 6,000 miles, it had 140,000 miles when I sold it. I changed the oil every 3,000 miles and added a full bottle of Tufoil each oil change, it never burned oil, the turbo never blew and the oil was still clean. I used it in my chrysler mini-vans which each went over 100,000 miles & also my 98' Accord V6 which has 264,000 miles, burns no oil etc. Been using it in my 07' TLS since it had 3,000 miles. If my commuting was mainly highway I wouldn't use it, but where I live its stop signs, traffic lights speed limits going up & down constantly from 15 mph to 45 mph, not to mention traffic. It's murder on an engine.

Just because your car has lasted long proves nothing that the product was the catalyst in why it happened. My family of cars has been a 1990 Corolla that lasted 442k on the original engine with just conventional.

Honda Accord at 320k right now with conventional oil without any 'additives'.

etc,etc....

Not worth the extra money with how much the quality of oil has increased in the past 10 years. If anything, spend the extra money used on this and get Redline oil.

ya no need for the tl..my cousin runs it in his POS 2000 malibu, it quiets the lifter noise....I think it also thickens the oil.

I used it religiously in my old CL, had a slight valve tick so I used this with every oil change; ran great after that.

I used a product called "Restore" on my old car, 94 legend gs with 196,000k on it with full syn oil changed every 3k. People always told me my head gasket would blow all the time and I drove that car hard. Car never burned oil or smoked at all. I stand by that product and currently use it on my 07 cbp TL S with 34k. I buy it at any Walmart for around $8 for the v6 can

Sorry, but it really didn't do that much. I wouldn't be surprised if you ran without and got to the same mileage.

Ran it in my Civic Si cause it had a valve tick. Quieted down after adding it. I ended up adjusting my valves but it did help with the ticking.
There's usually a gear display next to the product in Autozones or O'Rilleys around here. It thicken the oil a little and lets it stick to moving parts better, at least that's what I can tell from reviews I've seen.
