Lubrication Engineers 8130 Info.???

Anyone know how or where to order LE 8130 oil? I know many folks (including RoadRage) have mentioned the merits of this oil.. Just can't find it!

Ask for the rep in your area. This is not autozone stuff - it is serious lubrication. 24 quarts per case. I am sure I have posted this a zillion times.
www.leinc.com

P.S. The oil is Red.

P.P.S. Always store your oil upside down.

Rage,

I think you mean www.le-inc.com

Here's a link to the passenger car oils:

What is this stuff? What are the benefits? Should I put it in for my first Service?

Doing a search returned this thread:

Maybe you should try the magic search button every once in a while too.

Thanks for the gracious remark. Maybe the magical search button comes in handy from time to time. No need to be a jacka$$.

It is engine oil. It lubricates the engine. How should I know when you should use it? Read what is posted and make your own call - the truth is out there, you just have to make up your own mind.

RoadRage is very correct - he has several great threads on the product, including some on the s2k forums (you'll need a few hours to read 'em all). But it is very difficult to determine how and where to purchase the product even after review of the LE website; that was my real question. And it is over $5 a quart...

Another good forum for MO discussions is bobistheoilguy.com at http://theoildrop.server101.com/cgi/ultimatebb.cgi (a lot of Castrol haters IMHO).

I do not know what is it is so hard for you to source it - you call LE, they give you a rep in your area, you place your order, you get your oil.

I got mine for less than $5/quart, and I do not get special pricing, although they give me a break on shipping 'cause I have helped make their "unknown" products "known". I have no financial ties, other than it is one of the 3 oils I carry (LE, Amsoil, Red Line) in my "hobby" as special mechanic/troubleshooter to a limited clientele of very special cars, and their owners. They are willing to pay $140/hour to have someone who treats their cars as he does his (that would be me).

One of those guys had a problem with his NSX that Acura dealer could not fix. I found a bad coil pack, and returned his car to perfect order in an hour. Called him, he came by - He says "surely the dealer did not have that in stock". I said, "No, I took one out of my own car, since I can wait for another one, and you can't". THAT is what keeps them coming back.

Day later, flowers arrive for my wife, along with a Be My Guest for $250 to the restaurant of my choice, and a bottle of Dom Perignon to boot. Guy has class.
