Lower Grill inserts.....

Hey everyone, i was just on ebay for shits and giggles and i saw this auction for a full chrome front bumper grill thing...and its only strips held on with probably double sided tape that you stick to the existing grill.....some may have it and some may say "why the **** would you get that for such a nice car" (LOL) well i was curious if anyone that did have it had a pic of it on an anthracite metallic TL and anyone that didn't have it, if you came up or have seen someone come up with a better replacement for those black lower grill inserts that come stock from acura....Thanks for your time

P.S. is there better way to remove those grill inserts, i only looked at it for a second but it looked like a pain in the butt....

all that kit consists of is precut chrome door edge stripping. you can buy it at most auto stores and save some money. i bought a set for my WDP, the center piece only, and it did look kinda nice, def not shitty at all.

i ended up meshing my grille and didnt want it anymore.

if you have the a-spec lip you have to remove it to change the grille.

You dont have to remove the mesh grille to install front ASpec right? But the grille is virtually inaccessible when the lip is on?

So, anyone knows if there is a special sized chromed insert for middle rib? or do you just stretch out the regular thin ones to make them fit (wonder if this will hold). Thx

No "special" sized chrome insert. It will fit... just takes a little time and effort.

I know it's not the color you requested, but pictures 1-4 on this thread show what it looks like on an NBP.

Hope it helps with your decision.

i got the full kit from ebay, I think it makes the car look much nicer. ( at least in silver) the piece that goes over the center is thicker than the others
