has anyone in ct had a tinter that tints the entire back quarter window? Mine said it couldnt be done without taking things apart, but I know it can and hes just lazy. He did everything else really well though. Anyone got a contact for me?

can anyone give me some instructions on how to do this? do you have to take apart the window seals or is it as simple as using a bunch of soapy water to slip the tint in there? I'd like to bring it back to the guy and get it done for free if possible. Thanks again.

If a tinter tells you he can't do it, he's LYING! He is just lazy. I saw my tinter do it. They just slide it right under the seal carefully. It's not a big deal at all. I have seen TONS of TLs where they didn't tint properly and it is very sad they got jaded like that! Do it right the first time! If one "can't" do it then go to the next guy. Chances are if he is that lazy, he is taking plenty of other shortcuts you don't know about. Tinting is an art.

 

If you talk to subsonicman, he runs Jo-Di's in new london and he has a guy that does tint. Like carrielynn said, it's a bit of a drive, but he does amazing work.

 

so its just a matter of getting some of that soapy water under the seal then? right?
