looking for stock 3rd gen mufflers

Anyone out there some stock mufflers they would be willing to donate for a mod project? I want to open them up to see how they work and see what modifications can be done to them. Looking to get a little more flow (power) and sound. I just don't want to cut the ones on my car to find out they won't weld back togther easliy and i wil be forced to buy replacements...
I will be happy to cover shipping to me of course...
I plan to dyno test before and after and post GOOD sound clips. I just dont see spending lots of cash for after market mufflers that in my opioion may be too loud and dont look stock. I don;t think i will get any more HP, but i think i will be able to get the sound I am after.
thanks.

yes, saw that and spoke with him. all he did is cut one open and look at it. i want to experiment with modifying it to change the sound output. the photos are helpfull since now i have an idea where to cut when i go to open one up. now all i need is a few doners so i can do some experimenting. i want to find a modification the will provide a more aggressive sound without spending major $$$ on an aftermarket system that is too loud for my taste anyway...and be easy enough for everyone do do with only minor welding required to close it back up. figure any exhaust shop should be able to close them back up up on the cheap.
SO, i am still looking for doner mufflers.....

if i were you i would call every exhaust shop in town and leave your name and number with them. old exhaust systems take up a lot of space. unless the customer wants to keep the system all the old exhaust we took off of cars went into the scrap metal pile. i assume most shops are like that.
