Looking to purchase pls help!!

Hey all

I'm trying to help out a friend who is very serious in purchasing an 04/05 Acura TL 5AT w/ NAV. Depending on the price and availability. Here is what he is looking as far as features and options.

2004 Acura TL 5AT w/ NAV
Satin Silver Metallic
Quartz Leather

Options (not sure if I am going to go with dealer options)
All-Season Floor Mats
Trunk Tray
Deck Lid Spoiler
Wheel Locks

Ofcourse this all comes down to price as he really likes the car BUT i believe the cheapest he has seen is around $31-32k. Any suggestions on who's got the best price or which dealer to go to? He's located in southern cali. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

$31K-32K for that car is at or below invoice. If he's holding out for a better deal, could be tough.

He has seen a NAV for 31-32k in southern california? You may want to check up on that again...

I got my best quote from Santa Monica Acura. Tustin Acura managed to meet and beat it. I've never heard of anything better than high 33k for southern cali though.

Thanks for the reply guys. So i guess that is the best he can do $31-32k is the best he can do.

PG2G: I'm not sure if the quote he got for $31-32k included the NAV. But which dealer do you think would be able to provide him with the better price? Santa Monica Acura or Tustin? I'm guessing Tustin?

Thanks

My wheel locks were thrown in for no addition charge. I never mentioned them and they they were in the trunk when I picked up my TL.

Well, I just went through Internet quotes so I'm not really sure how far they are willing to deal. SM offered around $1000 off msrp. Later when I talked to the Tustin guy, he offered some price in the low 35k. When I told him that someone else had already offered around $1000 off, he said he could beat it.

I decided to wait a bit for the 2005s, so I haven't gone thru the entire pricess. It's kinda hard to know how far each dealership will go if you just rely on Internet quotes. Needless to say, I don't think its possible to pull a navi in that price range, non-navi definitely though. Which is probably the route I'm taking.

Are you sure $33,000 for a 2004 TL w/ navi? Remember we are in Cali & $1,000 below MSRP is around $34,195 which is a realy good deal. Your quote must have been for a used TL.
