^ that is the concept though. It looks different from the actual car. The more I have looked at it over the years, the less I have liked it! Guys, like I keep saying, These will be on the 07. There will be plenty of them to use. I doubt acura would use separate parts when they could just use the same shit for both cars!

Actually I have a friend who was in China recently and said that the vehicle won't be out until late 2006. He also mention that there isn't an Acura Dealership established in China yet. They are in the process of builting a dealership either in Beijing or in Shanghai, but most likely in Shanghai they said. I also called the headquarter in of Acura In China and also give me the same answer. Cars not here and dealership is pending to be built.
As for the the production of the tail lamp, it is made here at the plant in Ohio. I have a friend who works for Honda here in Torrance, CA and frequently goes to Ohio for R&D. He have a friend who is working on the TLs and said that they are VERY strict on getting any parts that are exported out of the US and security reason, can not get any parts out of the plant. He he does, he will be fired. Only hope now is to wait for the shipment of the vehicle in China late this year. My friend also told me that at the plant in Ohio, they have the side mirrors, rear bumper, tail lamp stash inside a garbage compactor. Unfortunately he nor his friend can get any of those

Well...given that it appears it is WAY labor intensive to do manually...maybe there might be renewed interest in this thread now given the other one on building them has faded a bit? The crazy thing...it appears that they have to be exported to China first...and reimported back here to the USA as somebody stated in the other thread...that Honda had NO plans to release it here locally. My guess is...they dont meet out DOT standards or something? Either way...he said that his buddy would lose his job if he got a set of em and released em.

I'm really interested in that rear LED fog lamp assembly...or at least that's what they call it on Acura of China's website. I've been looking around for in terms of availability anywhere on the internet and def can't find anything
Yah I know this thread is basically dead but I figured I'de bring it back and see if there is still any interest or new info
