Lets see if we can source these tail light housings from China for the new TL. They have a clear face instead of red. Real nice looking. Does anybody know how to deal with China and how to get parts out of there?

Oh...we can find em....we just need somebody with ties in Japan to get em for us. This is on the new TL released in Japan....so they already exist...its getting them that gonna be the chore. I know China isnt as easy to deal with as Japan.

Really, maybe a member has family there! How much are our rear lights from the dealers? That will give us an idea on costs.

Or you can contact APC for altezza lights.. to see if they'll make them for the TL.

That's a good idea ... anyone thinking of doing those tails with their black TL? I'm not sure how good they would look on my car. I think it might be too much of a difference and then it would like look a civic with Altezza's or something, ha.

Why not just wait for the new 2007 Model Tail Lights, 5-6 MOnths left, would take longer than that from China

I have contacts in China and can get them exported via container to LA (they go weekly), then ground ship (ie UPS) from there.

What is the interest level?

I was up at the dealer last week visiting with some guys and they said there wont be much change in the 07 model

Wont be much change lol, Every Honda Product during its MMC time gets pretty subtle and different changes #1 being Tail Lights like the Accord and lots of Honda Products, and Type-S Seems like its on the way too

dont like the tailights at all, they look too APC aftermarket trashy IMO. I'd love to get my hands on a set of those rear smoked sidemarkers instead of the roadblockers

Could these be cleared, as in that other red shield be taken out? These seem pretty similar to the ones on the A-spec concept. I think these would look better tinted vs. the stock ones tinted which have an obvious red hue. You could probably make a fair bit of the price back on ebay, or at least a few bucks.

Also I believe, or would imagine, that A-spec is this generations solution for the Type-s. After all, how long can it be on the way? The 08 is a redesign correct?

I would like to see how these lights would look on my NBP TL. And those mirrors signals are awesome....but they look kinda roundish. Our TL has angular mirrors, not round ones. I just wish they would put those signals on the angular mirrors instead of making round ones.
