Anything I should watch out for?

Common problems and issues?

Thanks.

See if the 3rd gear issue has been corrected already. Check the brakes, they are Brembo, and the pads don't last very long. Some wear out at as little as 15k miles, and if you can't do the work yourself you are looking at a $600-$700 bill for the pads and rotors.

And listen for rattles while driving.

FYI, if you can change a tire you can change the pads on the Brembos...

Some people can't. Also an issue for apartment dwellers.

Simply offering information.

.

GM oil?

I heard really good things about Redline oil in Nissan V6 manual transmissions. Two buddies have Altima V6 with manual, and they say Redline made shifting so much better.

What kind issues are you talking about the 3rd gear?
One I want to check out is at an Acura dealership though.

Not that I doubt the GM... but an Acura dealership will actually replace the fluid themselves? Warranty waivers?
