Looking at an '07 TL-S need advice

Hey guys I'm a current 06 tsx with navi owner. Well with the family growing I need the size of the TL. Which I know isn't a lot but don't tell me wife haha. Anyways I found a silver TL-S 5at at a local Honda dealer. The car has 79k and had 1 woman owner. It has a clean carfax and was always serviced at an Acura dealer. I had the dealer send me all the service records. It looks as though the car went in for a srs light a few times a couple years ago and a check engine light at around 49k. The dealer won't give me any specifics on either. It looks as though she did every service as soon as it popped up on the dash from oil changes to tranny service. Here is what scares me every time it's in for a service I see electrical system checked on the repair order. Can anyone elaborate on this? Also they are asking 18k I offered them $17,500 and they accepted. It's just this electrical system has me scared. I havent had a single issue with my tsx ever and Ive always been a Honda guy. I'm just nervous with the 79k.

That could be the usual battery test they do every time you bring the car in. I wouldn't sweat it. When my wife brings in her accord the first thing they do is pop the hood and test the battery. I don't know for sure, but I'm willing to bet that's exactly what your "checked electrical system" is.

Yea it just seemed odd. Some of the checks were only a few thousand miles apart. Nothing ever says repair just checked. So do you think $17,500 is a fair price? It seems to be to me but hell I payed 17k for my tsx 1 year ago with 50k

^thats private party value though. hes buying from a dealer. its usually a good price if the dealer can match private party values.

It sounds like it's a nice car so far. You're the one who's looking at buying it, so only you can determine if it's in good shape or not. If it's in even 1/2 decent shape (which it sounds like it is) that is a good price.

congrats.. although I do miss my 06-08 TSX as the 6speed in those were so smooth..but NOTHING can beat the fierce aggression of the TypeS.

I agree I love my tsx but with the 5at it's a little sluggish. Even with a hondata reflash, comptech ice box and header. I will be searching out bolt on mods for the type s as soon as I get it. What would be the best first mod? I'm getting tein ss coilovers but I'm sure after about 2 weeks I'll need more power lol.
