Alright, ive always wanted to race one of you guys i got respect for you and i wanted to know who would win, would any1 in the Northern VA area be willing to go for a friendly run? Im looking for something mostly stock, dont care if u have an intake or something.

no i have a 330Ci with intake, and every TL i come next to has some old guy with his wife in it and of course they arent gonna go. i really want to run against one just something friendly no money or anything. Anyone up for it, id even take a previous generation TL-S

 

Oh yeah Your lucky to have a bimmer at 17,I was driving a 65 mustang .....fully restored no less with a V8302,but that aint no bimmer

 

I was reading some 3 series vs.Tl threads like last week,This would be a nice Race.........Make sure you get that ECU upgrade and your a sleeper

ECU upgrade for me adds only about 4 WHP tops, the major thing it does is change the redline from 6500 to 7000 and removes my top speed

My next performance mod is pullies within the next month or so

 

If you ever make a trip up to Atlantic City NJ, ill be willing to do a friendly run with you. I do have a few mods though, and if it is going to be over a month from now I will be supercharged so then it wont be worth it.. Bottom line in the next month if you are in NJ let me know. Thinking about it I will be in Baltimore March 17,18,19 so even then Ill be willing to go at it.

This is the most popular highest count membership TL community out there....? If you cant find somebody here....you would be hard pressed to find another TL community out there with this membership base to sample from. Give it some time....somebody will chime in!

What year and trans? My boy's got a 2002 330i AUTO w/sport package and Navi, I love the linear powerband on BMW's I6's. I've got a 2003 Maxima AT, stock for stock it was close between us.

 

Its an 02 330Ci Auto, id like to run with an auto as well, it is sport packed but most of the car has been changed, i do have an intake.

what's the point of racing two relatively stock AT's on public roads? Especially against a stranger, who is 17? No offense, but you might as well just go out on the roads looking for a TL to race.

I'd be willing to do a friendly run around the end of the month. We are having a meet in MD, so I'll be making my way through NoVa. It's up to you though, here are my list of mods.

 

I have a TL type S.Everybody said that mine is stock....i guess it is.I have a turbocharger in the back.Supercharger in the front engine .Does it count?BTW,i want to be on national TV
lets do PINKS for a change.I have 2 cars that are highly modified.Worth being on PINKS.So,is ur bimmer already paid off?otherwise u wont be accepted by PINKS.
